Donald Trump is not only the President of the United States, he is also a businessman and a personality with a very specific and consistent style of dress. His fashion preferences have remained unchanged for decades and are an integral part of him. In contrast to his current wife, First Lady Melania Trump, his style of dress is very simple and uniform. In contrast, it is Melania who entertains society with her distinctive pieces that are associated with her and her former modelling career. Melania grew up in a designer family and even studied fashion. Therefore, it would be offered that her husband Donald Trump would have, like her, iconic fashion pieces by her side, but this is not the case.

She was known for her preference for luxury brands such as Dior, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana or Valentino. Her dresses were always precisely cut and distinctly elegant, yet minimalist. Melania is also known for her ability to choose outfits with a clear message, such as a green coat that reads “I really don’t care, do u?” during a visit to a children’s center for immigrants, which caused much speculation and controversy. Donald and Melania Trump’s fashion styles complement each other. While Trump has stayed true to a classic formal style, Melania brings sophisticated and feminine elements when they appear together.

In 2015, he referred to his crowd of supporters by saying: “Look at these people… It’s literally kind of sad.” To distinguish his voters from the rest of the US population, he uses his red “Make America great again” cap , which is known virtually worldwide and has become a popular item in the wardrobe of many of his supporters.
