Do you pay attention to how you are dressed and whether you match? Your effect on your surroundings and their perception of you is closely linked to this. It is not for nothing that they say that clothes make the man. It is the first thing that says something about you and by which you express yourself.

Colours are always with us through life and our preferences change over time. Our personality, which we have developed over our lifetime with our personality traits and characteristics, then translates into the style in which we dress and how we present ourselves in public. Highly intelligent people are then often associated with high and demanding positions and are among the top in their field. Colorimetry is concerned with the link between color and intelligence, along with the impact on public performance. Intelligent people are said to dress most commonly in these colors, according to psychological surveys:

Blue

Blue may be one of the cool colours, but people in blue look calm and trustworthy. They strike you as trustworthy and businesslike professionals. Wearing blue gives the wearer a feeling of depth, seriousness and detachment. In general, blue evokes the sea or the sky, and you think of a calm sea and a cloudless sky. This association takes place automatically, but you already have a certain positive assumption in your head about a person you don’t know at all. Moreover, this color promotes concentration, creativity and the ability to cope with any problem.

Black

Timeless and versatile black must not be missing from this list. Embrace personality and give confidence. It is elegant, sophisticated and mysterious, it can add authority. Black has always been, is and will always be the favourite colour of the intellectually inclined. It is often worn by writers, philosophers and scientists. But it is also the colour of sadness, so we need to break this effect with another colour. For a tuxedo, accessories such as a handkerchief and tie work well, and preferably a light-coloured shirt. Combining it with another colour gives a feel of openness but still seriousness.

White

White is pure, but again, because of its excessive innocence, it is especially suitable in combinations with other colours. Clear and precise white recalls freedom. People in white appear open and detailed. They are in control, but at the same time can listen to others. It gives a sense of analytical thinking and the art of adapting. It is also a color favored by people with obsessive compulsive disorder, as it gives the opportunity to change frequently.

Grey

Grey is a bit of a controversial colour. It is commonly the colour of grey mice and is inconspicuous. It needs to be recombined for visibility. It looks calm, composed and professional. It is the color of the cerebral cortex, and gray eminence is always the most prominent personality.

Colourful clothes can cheer you up, the aforementioned colours should give you a sense of power, achievement and respectability. Intelligent people also wear these colors because they are in harmony with their personality or aura, if you will.
